Questions & Answers…

Been dancing since: I've been dancing since I was about 7 which is later than most people but hey I'm still good haha.

Dance Experience: I've got dance experience in Disco, Rock 'n' Roll, Hip Hop, Slow Dance, Jazz and Freestyle. I've danced in various night clubs for 3 years and took part in different dance shows.

Favourite style of dance: To watch it has to be Disco Dancing, I done that for years but I love doing any style of dance.

What advice would you give to aspiring dancers? Always give it your best and always smile when performing.

Best advice ever given to me: My mum always told me to smile and enjoy myself. Carole Anne always tells me to tuck my bum in, which I do try haha!

What I do to keep fit: I train with the squad at least 3 times a week, which is hard work, but worth it. Before I start training, I do a workout in the gym to get me warmed up and to keep me in shape. I also stretch most nights when I am watching TV to keep my flexibility up and of course I try and eat healthily.

Three words that describe me are: Honest, Chatty and mmmmmmmmmmmm, let me think, Caring.

I'm happiest when: I'm dancing in front of a great big crowd or I'm out shopping with my mum or when my alarm goes off at 6:00am and I realise I'm not working that day! How good is that when it happens????

My claim to fame is: Em, I don't really know, I've met loads of famous people. Oh, I have one I went to school with – shell-suit Boab from River City: Stephen Purden, he'll be feeling great because I have written this.

My most unusual job: Dancing in a night club dressed as a bunny rabbit or walking around Paisley in December with the shortest Santa dress on which is great fun.

If I had a different job I'd be: A lady of leisure – I would love that so much and I'd be really good at it.

My hobbies are: Dancing of course, keeping fit, shopping and going out with friends.

Pets: My big brother James.

Most people don't know this about me: I'm always cold – even in the summer I can't go to bed without my hot water bottle.

My happiest moment was: When I split up from my ex-boyfriend, haha only joking! When I found out I had qualified to dance at the World Championships to represent Scotland in Slovenia.

My most embarrassing moment was: When I came out of the toilets in school with my skirt tucked into my pants, just as well I wore tights at school!

I've never been able to: Drive – I've had more than 80 lessons but I'm still going and I'm not giving up so watch out if you see me on the roads. I'm so bad! [Update: Claire has finally passed her Driving Test – Congratulations Claire Bear!]

Things that really annoy me: Not getting what I want or people who tell lies.

Favourite food: I have loads of favourite foods but at the top for now is my mum's home-made macaroni.

Favourite joke: ME: Knock Knock.
Favourite Joke: YOU: Who's there?????
Favourite Joke: ME: Wee.
Favourite Joke: YOU: Wee who?????
Favourite Joke: ME: Wee man that couldn't reach the doorbell.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA How good is that??????

Favourite movie: Now and Then. It's such a girly movie, it's great.

Favourite song: I'll always love Samantha Mumba's I'll Always Come Back to Your Love.

Favourite TV show: Footballer's Wives is the best ever. I'm gutted they're not making any more episodes.

Favourite location in Scotland: Largs has to top it, or my garden on a hot sunny day.

Favourite quote: Don't really have one.

Favourite colour: Pink to make the boys wink.

Favourite flower: Red roses, so if anyone wants to send me some feel free, Iain will give you my full address hehe!

Favourite perfume: Amor Amor by Cacharel.

Favourite sport: To take part in I would say dancing surprisingly but to watch it would gymnastics or basketball.

Favourite chocolate bar: Anything that is Cadburys.

Favourite cake: Chocolate cornflake cakes from M&S are the best.

Favourite cartoon character: Minnie Mouse.

Favourite Super Hero: I don't have one until I get saved by him and swept off my feet haha!

If you could have a super-power for a day what would it be and how would you spend your day? I would spend my day as a fly on the wall listening to things I shouldn't be listening to! How sad am I haha!

If you looked in the trunk of my car you would find? Nothing as I do not yet have a car but keep your fingers crossed, I will eventually pass my test. I need encouragement.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? I don't know exactly but well over 60 I'd say. Shoes and bags, a girl can't have too many!

Heels or trainers? In general I like heels, very high heels to make my legs look longer.

Favourite outfit? My Rockettes uniform – come on you can't get any more glamorous than that!

Fashion/beauty accessory you can't live without: My hair straightners and I bet most of the girls have the same answer to this question!

Hottest new fashion tip: My own tip is be a leader not a follower. Be different from everyone else.

Biggest hair trauma: When I was about 10 I wanted a short bob and ended up with a short back and sides because the hairdresser had messed up so much. I looked like a wee boy it was so bad!

Worst male fashion mistake: Guys wearing point shoes is a defo no go.

Worst chat-up line: Guy: "Where have you been all my life?" Me: "Hiding from you." OR, Guy: "Your face must turn a few heads." Me: "Yes and your face must turn a few stomachs."

If your life was made into a movie what would it be called and who would play you? I'd love to play Sandy in Grease – that's a great film.

The person/people I most admire are: I admire my dad for being so strong and positive until the end through his illness and I admire my mum for always being here for me, doing everything for me and bringing me up the way she has. Now that I've said that will you buy me a new Gucci purse mum?????

What is the best gift you have ever received? I've received so many gifts I can't choose a favourite. I love getting surprises no matter what it is.

Name two people you would like to have dinner with: I'd love to have dinner with Wentworth Miller. Just me and him. Oh how lovely is he????

My proudest accomplishment to date is: Going to Slovenia to dance for Scotland and being in the Rockettes for 4 years.

What is the best thing about being a Rockettes Dancer? Where do I start???? Being part of a great hard working team, doing the swim wear calendars, getting to dance at the games and getting to know all the fans, taking part in different events, getting taught brilliant new routines, having a squad of girls who get on so well with each other and looking glamorous with our uniforms.

What would you like to be doing in five years? I'd love to still be in the Rockettes but apart from that I don't really know as long as I'm healthy I'll be happy and hopefully have passed my driving test.
